The Work

Nineteen years in the room.

I've worked with physicians, C-suite executives, entertainers, global law partners, UN negotiators, entrepreneurs, athletes, dedicated parents, and active grandparents.

What matters most isn't the titles or the accomplishments — it's helping someone reclaim confidence, freedom, and quality of life.

My Story

FranklyFitness wasn't a business idea. It was a lifeline.

I grew up entrepreneurial — drawing mascots to sell in fourth grade, flipping candy from my backpack, pitching property managers at twelve for weeding and snow removal. I was building things long before I knew what I was building.

I went to Boston College to study finance. Junior year, an ethics course on corporate responsibility cracked something open. At the same time, I was quietly carrying the weight of knowing my mom was living with HIV — a condition she contracted from complications after my birth.

That weight, mixed with questions of identity, brought me to a breaking point. A mental health crisis. A hospitalization. A bipolar diagnosis. For a while, I wasn't sure what came next.

What I learned in that season was simple and lasting: life is fragile, the present is the only thing we're guaranteed, and how we invest our energy shapes everything.

Lifting weights gave me physical confidence. Helping my mom gave me purpose. Managing my mental wellness became a lifelong practice. And out of all of it, FranklyFitness was born — not as a brand, but as a way to live.

Fitness became my path to freedom.

Philosophy

Movement is not exercise.

Movement is a lifelong skill that shapes health, performance, resilience, recovery, and longevity.

  • Movement is medicine.
  • Health is wealth.
  • Everybody is an athlete.
  • Play matters.
  • Longevity is earned.
  • Master the minimum.

Why Powder Fitness

Why I built Powder Fitness.

It started in Jackson Hole with a simple mission: ski 100 days in a season. Not for glory. For gravity, flow, and freedom — and for reconnecting with something deeper.

Life pulled me back east. New York City. Luxury hospitality. Corporate wellness. A decade went by. Then a client-turned-friend invited me on a ski-touring trip to New Zealand. After that came British Columbia, Patagonia, and the Chugach range in Alaska — terrain that has a way of bringing everything into focus.

Powder Fitness is my return to the mountains.

Built for skiers who train with purpose and find their freedom on the steep, the deep, and the wild.

Today

Father. Coach. Skier. (Re)Builder.

As a father, entrepreneur, and lifelong athlete, I believe movement is medicine, health is wealth, and mobility is the ultimate currency.

The work today is focused on helping people move well, recover better, and age powerfully — for the long game.
